Agatti Island has the only airport in the Lakshadweep Islands, called Agatti Aerodrome (AGX). It's a public airport managed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). This airport serves Agatti Island and other nearby islands. The runway is made of asphalt and is 1,291 meters long. There's one terminal for passengers. Agatti Island itself is a small 7 km long island, easy to explore on foot or by bicycle.
