Whether you are a 50 per cent photography enthusiast or a full 360-degree photographer, an aspiring model or just a photogenic-slug, you have to, have to visit these beautiful places in Delhi to click! or get clicked! There is nothing more satisfying than a picture worth showing-off. So we have a bunch of places in our list which are a perfect haven for all the photo-trotters out there. Also, fancy your eyes and innovate your brains with these incredible pictures just floating around the internet to be stumbled upon.

 

1. FashArt Studio - La Vie En Rose

This is the perfect spot if you are looking to have a fashion photo-shoot right here in Delhi. There are tasteful walls & preppy props to experiment with. And the best part is, you don't have to spend a penny to acquire this little spot. Also if your stomach starts growling in the mid-session, you can always grab a bite from the cafe. 

Where: La Vie En Rose Cafe, 253, Saiyad Ul Ajaib, Saket, New Delhi

Timings: 11 am to 10pm

 

2. Lodhi Art District

Imagine a place where you can upgrade your photographical artform with the actual drawings on the wall. So urban!!

 

Lodhi Art District is basically a contribution of more than 50 artists who splashed their artwork on the walls of Lodhi Colony in the form of murals. Here you can use all the depths of your camera and get a great shot of the whole area or you can even opt to click some quirky street style portraits

Where: Lodhi Art District, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi

Timings: There is no boundation on time but if you want a good picture, the day-time is undoubtedly the best hour to be photographing there.

 

 

3. Khan Market Street

Khan Market is a well-known place for a food blogger to visit, but what's in it for a photographer? 

It's simple, the market has a downtown feel which attracts a lot of fashion photographers & bloggers just the same. The view gives a rugged vibe to your picture along with an advantage of not spending anything on the location

Where: Khan Market, New Delhi

Timings: Again, the market is open all day long. Your shoot will depend on the feel you are looking for. Day or Night, both hours work for a good picture.

 

4. Rail Museum

Just look at the picture, just look at it! What fun will it be to have a picture taken in the midst of not-so-choo-choo trains because not all of them are functioning? Anyway, you can either go on capturing the grungy landscape created by engines just sitting around or you can use them as a background to a stylish subject. This place even leaves a room for post-editing stuff as well. 

Where: National Rail Museum, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi

Timings: 10am to 5pm 

And yes the entry is not so free;

Entry: INR 50 on the Normal Days & INR 100 on the Weekends and Special Holidays

 

5. Champa Gali

This particular Gali has a chic & a kind of blingy ambiance. There are many cafes and stores in this street and along with a popular artsy wall where you can click away from all your worries. The whole Gali is quite cozy and pretty in the evening. You can have all kind sorts of fashion photography here. Just bring your camera & the best look, the result will be a pleasant surprise!

Where: Champa Gali, Saket, New Delhi

Timings: 11 am to 10 pm

 

 

6. Deer Park - Hauz Khas

Who wouldn't want some good photography with nature? Well, we know you do! So, Deer Park is a pretty place with lush green trees above your heads and some gracefully fallen leaves on the ground. Sounds dreamy right! This is where you ought to be if you opt for landscape photography or even portraits. The park is also a go-to-location for some fashion photography as well.

Where: Deer Park, Hauz Khas, New Delhi

Timings: 5:30 am to 8 pm

 

7. Lodhi Gardens

This place is a photogenic haven. Lodhi Garden is known for its greenery and beautiful architectural wonders which were once built by the Mughal Empire. From wide-angle sceneries to classic photo sessions, everything can be possible here. Do not forget to carry your long-established long-lens and folks to help you out. 

An added feature to the location is that you can ponder through this massive garden for a Photowalk as well.

Where: Lodhi Garden, Lodhi Road, New Delhi

Timings: 5 am to 8 pm

 

8. Dilli Haat

The market place is known for its crafty stalls and Indian-touch food vendors. From Pitampura to Janakpuri, there are more than three Dilli Haat Markets in Delhi. Why this place? Because it gives your picture the folksy vibe you have been missing and the natural set up of the market is hippie yet snazzy. 

Although the most preferred Dilli Haats in Delhi are the ones in INA and Janakpuri.

9. ITO - Yamuna Bank

Looking for some river banks, white water birds and colorful boats to set up a mood for your photography? This is where you need to be. The place is a little damp but it always gives a great picture. The scenic beauty compensates the low-lying area issues with grace. Landscape photography is what you should be doing here. So pack up your equipment and capture all the beauty Delhi has to offer.

Where: Yamuna Bank, ITO, New Delhi

Timings: Only visit when it's safe

 

10. Okhla Bird Sanctuary

Look at the pretty bird, the green leaves and untamed skies peeping through the branches. Takes your heart. Right? Now, this sanctuary is famous for spot-that-rare-bird photography, which you don't get to do in Delhi a lot but you can also explore your skills with landscape shoot or even some fashion snapshotting. 

Where: Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Pocket-K, N-Block, Sector-95, Noida

Timings: 7 am to 5:30 pm

Entry: INR 30 per person per visit | INR 500 per person per visit with a camera 

 

11. Humayun's Tomb

Old architecture is something to die for. It's like travelling back in time. And this interesting factor takes many-many photographers to this place. Other than the Mughal Empire's fascinating structures, the place is surrounded by beautiful gardens and some never-ending trail of trees. So, we suggest you either capture the Tomb as a part of the landscape photography or you can use it as a background for personal shoots.

Where: Humayun's Tomb, Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah, Nizamuddin, New Delhi

Timings: 8 am to 6 pm

Entry: INR 10 for Adults | Free for Children
