Tsuglagkhang Complex
The complex house of the Tsuglagkhang consists of Photang which means Dalai Lama’s residence, Tibet Museum, Tsuglagkhang Temple, and Namgyal Gompa. You have to walk up the hill and you can see the sign that says – “Entrance to Temple”. Coming back around past the monastery kitchens, the last stop is the main temple room featuring fine statuary and the throne on which the Dalai Lama sits when delivering teachings.

Kareri Dal Lake
Kareri Dal Lake is situated at a distance of 9km from Dharamshala. The water of this lake is so clear that you can even the bed of the lake can be seen in many parts from the surface. Bhagsunag Temple

Bhagsunag Waterfalls

Gyuto Monastery

How to reach Dharamshala
By Airport
The nearest airport is at Gaggal, about 13 kilometers away from Dharamshala. Gaggal airport connects Dharamshala to Delhi via Air India.
By Bus
Dharamshala is well-connected to Delhi and other parts of North India. Most buses stop at the main bus terminal in Lower Dharamshala, but there are also some public Haryana Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) buses that go all the way to the main square of McLeod Ganj.
By Train
The nearest major railway station is at Pathankot, 85 kilometers away. There are numerous trains that go to Jammu and Kashmir that stop by in Pathankot. You can take a taxi or bus from Pathankot to reach Dharamshala.
