1. AMRITSAR GOLDEN TEMPLE 

Visited by a lot of people around the globe, this place is one of the most spiritual places in India. Also known as Charminar sahib, the golden temple serves as the symbol of brotherhood and equality . not just for seeking spiritual solace, this place is also of a great historical and architectural interest. The holiest shrine in Sikhism but hold beliefs of people all over the world, this place is a must visit once and after that, you will start visiting frequently yourself.

2. SUN TEMPLE, KONARK 

A massive chariot of the sun god, pulled by 7 horses four on the left and tree on the right side, this temple with its great architectural value is a UNESCO world heritage site dedicated to devotees of the sun god. Situated on the northeast corner of puri, the Konark sun temple, prime tourist attraction of Odisha. Konark dance festival held every year in the month of February also attracts a wide number of foreigner and Indian tourists.

How to reach: the nearest airport is Bhubaneswar i.e 60km away, the nearest railway station in puri i.e 35km away. A regular bus and taxi service is available from puri.

 

3. VAISHNO DEVI, JAMMU, AND KASHMIR 

At a height of 1560 meters, this is a holy cave temple is located in the tirkuta hills. This temple holds a lot of people's belief and a wide number of people visit here to seek blessings, they literally walk 13km from Katra to the temple, which is among one of the 108 Shakti peetha. Though the trek is very enjoyable but would be difficult for kids and elderly people, for them there are ponies and palanquins available to easily take them to the destination above. Overall it's a great place to visit if you love nature and believe in Hinduism.

4. SOMNATH TEMPLE, GUJARAT

In the arms of Gujarat is Somnath temple, Somnath means “lord of the moon” and is one of the 12 jyotirlingas. somnath does not just offer the religious aspect but also a beautiful sight of beaches, museums, and other attraction as well. But primarily the town gives peaceful and spiritual, a place you must visit to rejuvenate your aura.

5. TIRUPATI, ANDHRA PRADESH 

Situated in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, Tirupati is one of the most popular pilgrimages in India. The major attraction of this place id “Sri Venkateshwara temple” holding strong spiritual beliefs of people, this is the wealthiest temple in the entire Indian subcontinent, due to a large number of donations this temple gets each day. everything about this temple is majestic and overwhelming.

6. KEDARNATH 

One of the most sacred and significant centers of India, this is one of the char dhams which holds great spiritual beliefs and religious sentiments of the people. With spirituality, it can be an adventurous trip as well because you have to trek for 16km to reach the destination which can be fun but difficult for some. Remains closed in six months of winters due to heavy snowfall and the extreme weather conditions.

7. HARIDWAR

One of the 7  holiest cities in India is Haridwar, and for a Hindu, his spiritual journey will never be completed without visiting Haridwar. Many people visit this place frequently to pay their respect to the lord and to wash away their sins in the Ganga. Har ki Pauri is the famous ghat where every evening Ganga aarti takes place turning the environment mesmerizingly beautiful, and not just this there are many other tourist attractions as well, but you can't miss the beautiful sight of Ganga Aarti.
