Are you planning a trip to the beach or the mountains this summer? It's important to understand that travelling might damage your skin if you don't take care of it.

Traveling exposes you to tiredness, ignorance, poor diet, a demanding schedule, and changeable weather. When it comes to destroying your radiant skin, these two are a lethal combination. Traveling may also severely damage your skin, especially if you are travelling from one place to another with significant temperature variations.

So here are a few helpful tips for keeping your skin healthy and smooth when travelling— so you can shine like a star!

1. Keep your moisturiser handy!

We suggest that you use an intensive moisturising cream the night before your trip. This will help you keep your skin hydrated, protecting you from the elements. Direct sunshine or strong winds can cause the skin to dry out and severely damage the skin's texture. Reapply moisturiser as needed while travelling to keep your skin smooth and supple, regardless of the weather.

2. Make sunscreen your best friend

Regardless of the season, use sunscreen to protect your skin from the damaging effects of UV radiation. This way, you can keep your skin from tanning and getting sunburned. Excessive sun exposure also contributes to premature ageing. As a result, sunscreen is an excellent tool for self-preservation. Reapply every 2-3 hours and use a good emollient to keep the skin moist from the inside out.

3. Cleanser is a must

It goes without saying that while travelling, your skin gathers a lot of dirt and dust, which builds up on your skin and causes breakouts. A cleanser will remove all the gunk from your skin and leave it clean and rejuvenated. It is also critical to bring your cleanser with you since even a minor change in skincare products might cause your skin to react quickly and produce a "vacation outbreak." 4. Comfort clothing should be high on priority

You will be engaged in activities such as trekking, games, or simply walking about and exploring the area while out. Comfortable clothing can keep you safe from the horrors of irritation, itching, and rashes that can occur as a result of unpleasant, tight clothing. Tight clothing causes a variety of problems such as eczema, infections, and heat rashes; thus, wear loose, comfortable clothing. Skin allergies and some kinds of contact dermatitis must be identified and treated as soon as they are noticed.

5. Blotting papers are the new toner

Most people have oily skin while travelling, which is caused by dirt buildup. Blotting sheets are useful for removing oil from the face, particularly the 'T Zone.' They are far superior to conventional tissues, which leave a residue. They are also suitable for people with sensitive skin.

6. Drink water for hydration

Water is not only good for your health, but it is also good for your skin. We frequently forego drinking water when travelling to avoid the inconvenience of finding a bathroom. However, this practise not only disrupts your system but also wreaks havoc on your skin.

7. Ice for your eyes, baby!

Under eye circles are very common in regular travellers. Using an ice pack on your skin might help calm your eyes and reduce tension and effort. Repeat this for many days while travelling.

So, follow these tips and glow while you are out on your vacation!
