I'd equate the arrival of IPL season after enduring a big chunk of what feels like the longest year ever, to the first sight of sunshine after a harsh spell of rain. Just in time to revive our drained spirits, the nearly 2-month-long spectacular cricket tournament is now underway, and the skyrocketing level of excitement in the air is almost palpable. Physically separated by a virus, but united by our mutual passion for cricket, the populace of India is officially wide-awake and on its toes, ready to holler, cheer and obsess over all the matches lined up. I for one can barely contain myself. Because even for someone like me who doesn't have a single sporty bone in her body to boast of, the frenzy of IPL season is inescapable.
Let me paint you a picture of what's about to happen. Countless eyes glued to the forgotten television in the living room, sudden screams of glee erupting from nearby houses when a favourite team scores a sixer, and weekly hangout sessions with the gang now revolving around the most exciting match on the cards. Piling snacks and soda, your own running commentary on the group chat, and gaze never averting from the match playing on the device in your hands. Needless to say, truckloads of thrill and fun are on the horizon for all of us. You know what can make the experience of watching all these matches even better? Hearing everything that's happening on the pitch, on the field and across the stadium, with enough clarity to transport you right to the scene of action!
Doubtful? You won't be when you have boAt speakers by your side. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest when I say my boAt device multiples the joy of closely following a match, tenfold! Right from the sound of the ball hitting the bat to the animated commentary ongoing in the background and the collective cheers of the crowd, every single sound travelling through my boAt speakers, is sharp, crystal clear and just the right amount of loud.
You can think of devices from boAt, as the easiest way to turn a cricket match on your screen into a lively carnival. And the fact that there are so many options ranging across budgets, requirements and desired features that you can take your pick from, certainly helps the cause. Wireless or wired, speakers or headphones, home or car, you decide what strikes a note with you, pun intended! Personal recommendation? Well, I own a pair of boAt's BassHeads 132 earphones, and never have I ever had a moment of dissatisfaction. So naturally, I endorse it with all my heart!
