Every Teacher Ever: 8 Types Of Teacher We've All Had

I've always lived in the delightful shadows of an impeccable teacher, "my mom". It's not a sentiment, she actually is a wonderful teacher and she's been scolding kids and shaping their lives for more than 25 years. So you see, regardless of all the kinds of teachers, I might have had in my life, the best of the best reside in my house.

Despite the respect I have for teachers, who BTW are the real shapers of our lives, I came across archetypal teachers that every student has seen in their school/college life. It's almost uncanny how each of these teachers has almost the same.

Don't believe us? Here's some proof.

1. The "Sushmita Sen"

Ever been in the presence of a teacher who'd get your heart racing the moment they entered the class? Nobody could ever light up the room as they did. Every word out of them was a song and every second of every period spent with them was a treat for the eyes & the heart. And mind you, all the homework we got from them was a priority. Ah, to be young and in love.

2. "Whatt wrong with you?"

Every P.T teacher in the history of Indian schools had the same attitude towards English. I mean, I loved our physical education staff but they never scolded us right. TBH, what wouldn't I give to be wrong all the time and still be feared in the school? The OG gangtars!

3. The khadoos librarian

"My librarian is such a bliss, she lets me read whatever I want", said no student ever! This is the question for scientists & philosophers who can elaborate on the reasons behind the resentful nature of a librarian.

4. The "Once upon a time" teacher

These people could've mastered the art of storytelling, but their career got side-tracked, and they became a teacher instead. This species of teachers start off with an important topic but ends up telling us about his recent Manali trip that had no relevance to our class whatsoever. How we travelled from Shakespear's Sonnet to his spilt tea; we'd never know. Be that as it may, anything is better than studying in class, so thank you sir for doing that in my math class.

5. Mogambo kabhi khush nahi hua

Sure Bollywood had its share of deadly villains who made everybody miserable, but our schools had the ultimate devils who thrived on our misery. We could never make him happy or even smile. Our melancholy was their bread and butter. God knows what he'd be like at home (don't wanna imagine).

6. Head down & chill kinda teacher

I wish I could go back in time and get all the sleep in my class when I was asked to. Because it's six years later and I am still sleep deprived. Those substitute teachers knew it well, they were our real well-wishers. But we were quite frisky in the school to just keep our heads down. Yo! ma'am, I apologise for not understanding you.

7. Rescuers

Science students, do you remember your lab assistants? They were the only teachers who gave a damn about our happiness. The rescuers as I'd like to call them. They not only helped us out with every impossible experiment, they also saved our sorry faces from failing during the practical exams.

8. You Inspired Us

"Oh caption, my captain"... How could we leave out the special teachers who along with inspiring us made us laugh and also cry during our farewell? For me, it was a strong lady who taught us biology and she made every lecture memorable. A teacher who has answers to all your questions and sees you as an equal is the ONE. Never fail to appreciate them guys.

Whoever they are, whatever they did, nothing can beat the feeling we get when they spot us in the crowded market & recognize us. They made our school memories worth looking back to. Happy Teacher's Day!
