I can't speak for you, but as nightmarish as 2020 has been as a year, I think we finally made it to the better, latter half. Better because henceforth the calendar is going to be speckled with joyous occasions, and opportunities to get together with those we love and miss. I'm of the view, that August onwards, every month brings with it at least a couple of exciting festivals, and the next one on the verge of greeting us, is the auspicious festival of Onam. 

 

For those who celebrate Onam, the occasion is centred around a multitude of celebratory activities, ranging from dancing to decking up the house and getting decked up yourself. But one of the most crucial parts of this 10-day-long merry-making has got to be all the feasts that await us. Flavourful and colourful preparations, arranged atop a large and lush banana leaf, that's a common sight during Onam. And the grand vegetarian feast of Onam Sadhya is what we have our hearts set on. But while some of us have already shopped for ingredients and started prepping, others are clueless about how they'll have a lavish Onam Sadhya meal this year. One of our favourite South Indian restaurants in Delhi NCR, Mahabelly is up and running again, and fortunately also prepping to serve the most delicious Onam Sadhya meal ever. Mahabelly Restaurant's Adopoli Onam Sadhya spread comprising of 22 vegeterian dishes will be available from the 30th of August till the 1st of September with lunch timings being 12 PM to 3:30 PM and 7 PM to 10:30 PM for dinner. There's a takeaway option, and there's a home-delivery option but only for people residing within a distance of 12 kms from Saket in Delhi, or DLF Phase 4 in Gurgaon. Zambar is one of the most popular South-Indian restaurants in the city, and the stellar reputation is backed by evidence. All their preparations taste absolutely fantastic, but the once-a-year Onam Sadhya is to die for. This year, Zambar is all set to serve your grand Onam Sadhya meal from the 29th of August till the 31st of August. Their spread will comprise of 25 dishes, and will be available for delivery within a reasonable radius!

This recently revamped restaurant in Delhi NCR has a loyal legion of customers, and if you don't know why, trust me you're missing out. Their South Indian servings are packed with authentic flavours, and their grand Onam Sadhya meal even more so. Up for grabs from the 31st of August till the 1st of September, the Onam Sadhya spread at Padmanabham will be available from 12 PM to 10 PM. They're all set to put together a feast of 18 dishes for folks to gorge on at the restaurant. Each Onam Sadhya meal can only be had by one customer, but given how pocket-friendly the meal price is, the urge to share shouldn't be a problem!

And if that's a statement you are feeling sceptic about, all you need to do is go ahead and take a gander at their awesome Onam Sadhya meal. Available for both dine-in and delivery 31st August onwards from 11:30 Am to 3 PM, the Onam Sadhya spread at Hotel Malabar boasts of 21 delectable dishes!

Unless this is your first experience of looking for mouthwatering South Indian in Delhi NCR, Sana-di-ge is a name you'd in all likelihood be familiar with. Their Onam Sadhya meal is even more out-of-the-world in taste and look, than the other offerings on their menu. This year, Sana-di-ge will be serving an Onam meal from 28th to 29th August between 12 to 9 PM. Their spread will have 20 appetising dishes, available for dine-in!
