Ingredients :
- 150-gram Besan or Gram floor
- 200g Paneer cubes
- 250g onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Chilli
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 1 Coriander leaves
- 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Salt, according to taste
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- Water as required
Instructions :
- Add chopped onions, spices, green chilli, and salt, and mix well in a bowl.
- Add 150g of besan and enough water for a thick batter and leave it for 5 minutes.
- Heat up the oil then take paneer cubes and coat well with onion Pakoda batter.
- Deep fry them until it becomes golden brown and crispy then drain them from the oil.
- While serving, sprinkle chopped Coriander leaves and chaat masala and serve hot at the time of Iftar with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
2. Crispy Punjabi Aloo Samosa
Aloo Samosa is one of the most popular snacks in South Asian Countries and in India you can find samosa lovers in every household. Ingredients :
A. For dough:
- 2 cups refined flour or maida
- ¼ tsp Ajwain /carom seeds
- ¼ cup oil 1/2 cup water
- ½ tsp salt
B. Stuffing ingredients:
- 1 tsp cumin/ jeera
- ½ tsp fennel / saunf
- ½ crushed coriander seeds
- 1 inch chopped ginger
- A few pinch asafoetida/ hing
- 1 chopped green chilli
- ½ cup peas / matar
- ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- ½ tsp Coriander powder
- ¼ tsp jeera powder
- ½ tsp garam masala, amchur powder
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¾ tsp salt
- 4 potato boiled and mashed
- 5 cashew chopped
- 3 tbsp raisins
- 2 tbsp coriander chopped
C. Water for sealing
D. Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
- Pinch the dough and grease it.
- Roll the small ball-sized dough into an oval shape and cut it dividing it into 2 equal portions.
- Grease with water and make a cone and stuff 2 tbsp prepared samosa masala and close the seal tightly after greasing the edges with water.
- Now deep fry samosa until it becomes crispy golden brown and serve it with green or tamarind chutney at the time of Iftar.
3. Afghani soya Chaap
This high-protein snack would be a delicious Iftar option for someone fond of vegan food or simply because of its yummy taste.

Ingredients :
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- ¼ cup yoghourt curd
- 750 g Soya Chaap
- ¼ cup cashew paste+milk cream
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons Oil
Instructions:
- Dry all Soya chaps after cleaning them well
- Take yogurt, cashew paste, lemon juice, cream, and all spices to marinate the Soya Chaap.
- Now keep it in the fridge after covering it, for 2 hours. Then heat a thick pan or Tawa and add oil and put Soya Chaap and cook well from all sides.
- If you’re cooking in an oven, grease Soya Chaap With some oil and cook at 200C in grilling mode.
- Serve hot with chutney and salad during Iftar.
3. Mutton Boti Kebab

Ingredients:
- 500 g Lamb/Mutton boneless pieces, chopped
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/4 cup Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp White Pepper Powder
- Salt as per taste Salt
- 1/8 cup Hung Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Raw Papaya Paste
- 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder
- 2 to 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Oil
- Butter as required
Instructions:
- Take a bowl and combine the papaya paste, garlic, ginger paste, lemon juice, and salt.
- Marinate the lamb and leave for 30 minutes. Then mix all other ingredients and marinate the lamb for 2 hours.
- Then skewer the lamb pieces and roast in a tandoor/oven/grill for 15 minutes.
- Remove the baste with butter and roast again for 3 minutes.
- Then serve hot with salad.
