Jashn'e'Rekhta 2019 - The Celebration Of Hindustani Heritage

Jashn-e-Rekhta is truly a melting pot of Hindustani languages, culture and heritage in the contemporary age. A brainchild of the Rekhta Foundation, which is a non-profitable organization dedicated to the preserving the languages and literature hailing from the Indian sub-continent, has come a long way with a platform like no other to spell the charm of music, poetry and ethnic wisdom on the world.

Ever since 2015, the Jashn'e'Rekhta has been growing bigger and wilder every season. While the real buzz about Jashn'e'Rekhta has been since Zakhir Khan spread the world around with his witty shayari in 2017, the previous versions of this cultural bonanza have seen very many renowned personalities associated with this festival like Gulzar, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Vishal Bhardwaj, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ustad Ajmad Ali Khan, Pt. Jasraj and many others. Even this year, the huge list of celebrity presence is sure to make you leave you astonished.

Terms & Conditions

• All guests above the age of 12 yrs are required to register themselves for entry to the premises. You may register online or on spot at the Jashn venue.
• Children below the age of 12 yrs are allowed without registration, but only when accompanied by parents or guardians who have registered for the event.
• Upon registration, the guests would receive a confirmation code via SMS or WhatsApp or EMAIL which is to be shown at the registration counter for the entry to the Jashn.
• Each registration is non-transferable and cannot be used for more than one person.
• Along with the verification code, you will also need the Jashn access badge, which can be collected from the registration counter upon arrival at the venue. Guests need to carry a valid photo ID for verification along with this code.
• Seating at session venues is on a first-come basis, therefore no requests would be entertained for spots after the slots are full.
• Depending on the number of people at the venue and its capacity or for any security reasons, the Jashn will at its discretion and without prior intimation open or close all registrations for on the spot registrants.
• For security reasons, organizers reserve the right to perform security checks on invitees/members of the audience at the entry point. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched and such articles would be confiscated.
• Guests shall be responsible for their belongings at all times, Jashn authorities would not be responsible for any damages of loss incurred.
• All guests are expected to behave in a dignified and orderly fashion. Non-compliance of the same would result in disciplinary actions against you
• Consumption, distribution or sale of illegal substances, alcohol, tobacco products, and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited on the Jashn premises. Individuals found in such activities will be prosecuted by the legal authorities involved. 
• Parking at designated parking area or at or near the Jashn premises is at the risk of the vehicle owner. Organizers will not hold any responsibility for any damage or theft of any vehicles within the stipulated parking premises of the Jashn.
• The Jashn authorities reserve the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of an equivalent standard, however, no confirmation of the same is guaranteed. 
• The Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the organizers.

Q. Can I take outside food to the premises?

A. No, outside food cannot be taken to the Jashn premises. However, food will be available inside on a paid basis. 

 

Q. Will parking be available nearby?

A. No, Jashn foundation do not endorse any parking facility near or within the premises. Vehicles parked near the premises are solely on the owners' risk.

 

Q. Is there an age restriction to this event?

A. No, there isn't any age restriction to this event, however, guests above 12 years of age are required to register themselves for entry. 

 

Q. What if I can't come, can I transfer my registration to someone else?

A. No, all registrations for the Jashn event are non-transferable.

 

Q. Is there a smoking zone inside the premises?

A. No, the Jashn premises is a smoke-free zone, those caught in non-compliance of the same shall be prosecuted and fined. 

 

Q. Can I take my pets to this event?
