Stating the obvious but Maggi noodles has always been our go-to option on helpless hostel nights, exciting road trips, and at-home movie dates. I can't remember the time when these delicious instant noodles wasn't a part of our lives. Every grocery shopping list of almost every Indian household has Maggi written all over it (exaggeration based on real events).

I think, a snack so great deserves an upgrade. Here are 5 five ways you can recreate the magic of our good Ol' Maggi.

1. Cheesy Italiano Maggi

When the heart craves all sorts of creamy delicacies from around the world, fixing up our Maggi with an Italian twist should be your go-to solution. Make sure there's enough cheese to justify this experiment.

Ingredients:

  • Maggi double pack
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated Garlic
  • 1 cup Chopped Veggies (capsicum, bell peppers, onion)
  • 1-2 tablespoon Cheese spread
  • Chopped Basil leaves

How To Make Cheesy Italiano Maggi?

  1. In a non-stick pan heat the oil and fry the grated garlic for a minute and add basil leaves.
  2. Toss in the chopped veggies and cook until tender.
  3. Turn off the flame and drop off the cheese spread in the sauteed vegetables. Mix well and keep aside.
  4. Make your regular Maggi noodles as per the instructions on the packet. Once done, pour the Italian twist from step 4 into the well-cooked Maggi.
  5. Garnish with basil leaves and serve hot.

2. Maggi & Baked Beans On A Cracker

Fancy a treat that's hard to beat and fairly easy to make? I'd take that as a yes and give you this toothsome recipe of a bite-sized Maggi snack made better with the cream cracker.

Ingredients:

  • Maggi single pack
  • 5 tablespoon baked beans
  • 2 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped Garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • Cream cracker biscuit

How To Make Maggi & Baked Beans On A Cracker?

  1. Make your regular Maggi noodles as per the instructions on the pack and keep them aside.
  2. For baked beans; heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add garlic and onion. Saute for a minute or so.
  3. Add baked beans, tomato ketchup and salt to taste. Keep cooking on the medium flame for a minute or two and keep aside.
  4. Now it's time to assemble the cooked ingredients. Take the cream cracker and top it with a tablespoon of Maggi from step 1, a teaspoon of baked beans from step 3 and half a teaspoon of grated cheese for the climax.
  5. Repeat step 4 to have plenty and serve fancy.

3. Cheesy Maggi Samosa

Move over regular samosa, Maggi Samosa is ready to share the credit for the best Indian snacks of all time and it's going to be amazing. A warning though, this recipe isn't as quick as instant Maggi noodles itself, but the outcome will be worth your time.

Ingredients:

  • Maggi packs
  • 1 cup chopped veggies (onion, capsicum, peas etc.)
  • 2 cups Maida
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cheese

How To Make Cheesy Maggi Samosa?

  1. Put together flour, salt, carom seeds and oil in a mixing bowl. Thoroughly mix the ingredients and then start adding water little by little.
  2. Mix the ingredients and water slowly until you get a firm dough out of it. Cover and set aside for 30 mins.
  3. While you wait, get your vegetable Maggi cooking. In a pan with a tablespoon of oil add onion and other chopped veggies until tender. Add water, break the Maggi noodles and let them boil. Now add the tastemaker and maybe salt to taste. Let your Maggi cook. Towards the end, sprinkle cheese and mix.
  4. Knead the dough from step 2 to smoothen.
  5. Pick small portions enough to make balls of dough.
  6. Grease the rolling area with a little oil to avoid sticking and flatten the dough balls with the help of a rolling pin. Give it the basic shape of roti and then cut it in half. You'll have two semi-circular roti now.
  7. Smear water over the straight edge and join them to make a cone. Press gently to seal the cone from inside.
  8. Fill the cone with the cheese Maggi you prepared in step 3. A spoonful would be enough.
  9. Now smear some water over the open edges and join it together to make a pleat on one side. Seal your samosa good.
  10. In a deep bottom pan, heat the oil until it's medium hot. Gently add these filled up a samosa and deep fry until golden. Repeat this until either the dough is over or the filling. Serve hot with ketchup on the side.

4. Maggi Pizza Not Pizza

Pizza with a Maggi-cal crust overflowing with cheese and veggies is the most-awaited and delicious crossover we didn't know we needed. If this doesn't get you all the appreciation in your home then I don't know what will.

  • 1/2 cup chopped Onion, Tomatoes, Capsicum, etc. separately
  • Grated Cheese
  • Pizza Sauce

How To Make Maggi Pizza?

  1. Make your regular Maggi noodles as per the instructions on the packet. Use less water to keep it sticky.
  2. Once cooked add cornflour in the Maggi and mix thoroughly.
  3. Sprinkle some oil on a non-stick pan and pour the Maggi into it. Since it's sticky over the bottom of the pan by evenly spreading it. Leave no gap.
  4. Carefully toss flat Maggi base and start topping. Smear pizza sauce and add veggies. You can even use shredded chicken pieces or pepperoni as the topping.
  5. Bring climax by adding cheese on the top. Cover the lid for about 1-2 minutes to let one side cook and cheese melt.
  6. Place the outcome on a plate and garnish with oregano, chilli flakes and basil leaves. Cut into love triangles and serve hot.

5. Sunny-Side Up Maggi

Looks like a simple bachelor's meal is about to boost its game with more flavours and ingredients. This one is for all the people who prefer their food to be a bit more egg-siding.
