The days are long gone when SDA Market was known merely to the residents of Safdarjung and Hauz Khas. It has successfully transformed itself into a place frequented by college and school students, office goers, etc. Footfall in the market has increased tremendously with the opening up of the famous Mumbai based patisserie cum bakery – Theobroma, over the last few months.
The easiest way to reach Safdarjung Development Area is to take the yellow line Metro and get off at the Hauz Khas station and take an auto thereon.
As the name suggests the restaurant is extremely famous for its Biryani and Beer. The last time I was in the market along with a group of friends, each of us managed to lay our hands on a FREE glass of Beer, thanks to an offer that was doing the rounds in the market. The restaurant offers North Indian cuisine and is easy on the pocket.
